Middleton, WI: Vortex has changed the way hunters will look at value-priced hunting scopes forever. No longer must they settle for mediocre optics built with manufacturing shortcuts to meet popular price points.

The new Vortex Crossfire packs a lot of the quality and performance of premium optics into a rugged affordable riflescope. With fully multi-coated optics (not just multicoated, like most competing models) which deliver 90% light transmission, a solid one-piece tube turned from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, 100% waterproof/fog proof construction, dry nitrogen purging for prevention of internal fogging and corrosion, a choice of four popular reticles, and a lifetime V.I.P. Warranty- the Crossfire will be turning lot of heads in deer camp this fall.

The Crossfire is available in 10 different variable-zoom models, from 1.5 - 4 x 32MM for brush hunting and dangerous game - to high-powered 6 - 24 x 50MM AO for long range varmint and target shooting. There's also a compact 2 x 20MM model for handguns.

Reticle styles include V-Plex (on most models), V-Brite (on select models), Fine Crosshair (on target model), and Mil Dot (on long-range target & varmint model).

"The Crossfire is another example of how our years of optical experience and determination to do things better result in superior quality and performance at a better-than-competitive price," explained Joe Hamilton, Vortex's sales manager. "Our products are consistently compared to more expensive competitors across our entire line of riflescopes and binoculars."
